About the Event
Basics and Beyond for Behavioral Health Clinician's
Have you ever felt that your graduate training program did not prepare you adequately in certain areas of practice, or simply that your skills have dulled a bit over the years? “Basics and Beyond” is a two-part training series that will address these relative weaknesses in an engaging, supportive, and practical manner, as well as present fresh perspectives on basics of behavioral health care.
At the end of the training, learners will be able to:
· Identify the essential areas of inquiry for your initial assessment interviews
· Identify which interviewing microskills are relative strengths or weaknesses for you
· Conceptualize cases in a way that leads directly to treatment planning
· Integrate cultural factors into every case conceptualization
· Be able to identify 3 ways of evaluating progress in psychotherapy
