About the Event

Presented by Dr. Taylor Eaves, this class will  offer unique perspectives regarding the following: 

-What happens in the brain and how does the body respond when we experience stress, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain.

-Gain understanding of the impact of common mental health issues on the brain and how it manifests physically.  

-How do things in our environment, that we often don’t consider, influence mental health? For example, the vocal intonation and facial expressivity can influence your partner’s, co-worker’s and friend’s mood!

-What research shows about how to address stress, depression, anxiety, and pain with non-pharmacological approach.

-Learn the impact that nutrition, breath work, meditation, relationships, and exercise has on your mental and physical health.

-Hands on exercises, demonstrations, and interactive discussions. 

-Participants will walk away with a better understanding of mental health from easy to understand neuroscience perspective along with holistic approaches to enhance physical and mental well-being for themselves and to offer to the client’s they work with.

 

Dr. Eaves is a licensed Chiropractic Physician from Beaumont, TX. Dr. Eaves received his bachelors in Exercise Physiology from the University of Arkansas at Monticello where he played college baseball, and later coached for one year. He received his Chiropractic Degree from Parker University Chiropractic College in Dallas, TX. During his final months in Chiropractic school Dr. Eaves had the opportunity to work at the Dallas VA Medical Hospital where he treated over 600 veterans.

Dr. Eaves has several hundred hours of Post Doctoral specialty training in Chiropractic Neurology, and Applied Clinical Neuroscience focusing on rehabilitation of patients with Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries.

Dr. Eaves specializes in many Chiropractic adjusting techniques, and utilizes manual active release soft tissue therapy to get the best outcome for his patients dealing with musculoskeletal injuries.
