About the Event
Based on the 2018 book, "Listening Well: The Art of Empathic Understanding" by William R. Miller, this class will offer clear explanations, specific examples, and practical exercises for developing your skillfulness in empathic listening. Alicia Shiver, LADAC, MA, LMHC and Lindsay Worth, MPA, MA, LMHC will spend this short class on introducing the basics of empathic listening and offer exercises to practice this skill.
