Completion of the class Fundamentals of Racial Trauma on March 23 is recommended but not required.

Over two sessions of learning, participants will

• Review multiple models and clinical interventions for treating racial trauma, including the Healing Racial Trauma Treatment Protocol, Racial Trauma Recovery model, and Race Informed Trauma Clinical Model

• Learn racial trauma coping skills and tools to share with BIPOC clients (including ways to prepare for racist encounters)

• Engage in therapist/client role play scenarios about race, informed by knowledge of ethnocultural transference and countertransference

• Gain understanding of the components of a racial trauma informed intake assessment
