This bundle of TeleMental Health masterclass workshops include access to six (6) 2-hour sessions. 

• The Fundamentals of How to Excel in TeleMental Health: Saturday, May 2nd 1-3pm

The Fundamentals of How to Excel in TeleMental Health is a master class that will enable you to increase knowledge about online counseling, be confident in your practice and delivery, and eliminate insecurities you have with technology. In addition, we will explore how to attract new clients so your practice can thrive.

• TeleMental Health Informed Consent and Documentation: Thursday, May 7th 10am-12pm

This Masterclass will dive into the essential needs for your informed consent focusing on TMH therapy. We will also discuss and implement the clinical standard for TMH notes, while overcoming fear of "whats missing" into "of course I have that!". Examples of consent and other documentation will be provided and distributed. 

• How to Handle Crisis Sessions While Using TeleMental Health: Saturday, May 9th 1-3pm

You've started Online Counseling with your practice. Yeah! What if there is a Crisis? Can you effectively handle the situation the same way you would if it were in-person? Maybe. Should you risk it? 

This Masterclass will discuss the complications that may arise and how to successfully and ethically deal with crisis when using TMH. In addition, will review when and how to use safety planning documentation and when to report. 

• Ethical Considerations in TeleMental Health (Including Interstate Practice): Thursday, May 14th 10am-12pm

As we gain momentum in the online environment many ethical considerations exist. How can we continue to follow the law and maintain ethical safeguards simultaneously. In this class we will also take time to dive into Interstate practice and if you are comfortable and covered to do so.

• The Ethical Practice of Social Media During Covid-19 and Beyond: Saturday, May 16th 1-3pm

Social Media and online presence is advancing in therapeutic communities. Now more than ever our online presence may be essential to the survival of our practice. I invite you to journey with me into the exploration of social media and other technology tools you can use to expand your practice. We will review current ethical safeguards and weight specific risks and benefits.

• TeleMental Health HIPAA and HITECH: Thursday, May 21st 10am-12pm

HIPAA requests that we maintain a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with all parties where Protected Health Information (PHI) is shared. This course will answer many of the frustrating questions that we are required to know. How much do they cost? What happens if I can not locate one? Don't I just need them to tell me they are "HIPAA Compliant"?  

HITECH: asks that we stay diligent in technology and keep safeguards in place to protect data. With this in mind you may want additional protection for your practice by completing a Security Risk Assessment.  I will provide a SRA tool to quickly and effectively assess any potential risks and rectify them in your practice.
