About the Event
The Nurtured Heart Approach is an evidence-informed, strengths-based approach that can be used with youth, adults, and families and can also be utilized in staff supervision and support. The Nurtured Heart Approach is a social/emotional strategy and lens that builds Inner Wealth ™ in all people and transforms their sense of self, increases interrelatedness and connectivity among staff, individuals and families, and builds character, strengths and virtues within an individual.
Quinn Donnay, MA is an Advanced trainer of the Nurtured Heart Approach and has been using the Approach most closely with young people and adults experiencing homelessness and staff supervision. Quinn is currently Associate Director of Self-Sufficiency and Housing Assistance at Catholic Charities. She is the greatness of tenderhearted vulnerability and allowing the space for others to be vulnerable and open as well. Quinn works to embody the Nurtured Heart Approach the best she can while spreading it into the hearts of many! She has a Masters of Arts degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Oakland University in Michigan. She currently lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico and enjoys hiking and spending time with her cat Ripley.
