About the Event
The goal of this course is to help professionals that work with children through adults understand Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including understanding features and the history of the disorder, identifying and guiding families when a child shows signs of ASD, options for treatment and family support for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and current research.
Catherine Kovatch is a licensed psychologist and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She has worked with children and young adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and other learning and behavioral disorders for more than 25 years in schools, residential settings and mental health agencies, performing evaluations, developing and providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to children and designing and implementing social skills groups.Â
