Join us for a LIVE workshop using the platform ZOOM. This will be an interactive experience where you will partcipate in expereintial practices with the instructor and other's joining the class remotely. Video and audio capabilities are required. 

This workshop will focus on the science of intimate relationships and how when applied to couples therapy, helps couples make sustainable changes in their relationships that reduce the corrosive effects of their conflict and puts them on a trajectory toward improved relationship satisfaction and stability.

Dr. Brandi Fink, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist, and an Assistant Professor in the UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Fink obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, and her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of New Mexico. Dr. Fink completed a post-doctoral fellowship funded by the NIH/National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism at the UNM Center on Alcoholism, Substance Abuse and Addictions studying the neurophysiological effects of alcohol on the behavior of couples in conflict. Dr. Fink’s current research is focused on the prevention and treatment of alcohol use disorders, alcohol-related intimate partner violence and suicide prevention and treatment. This work was funded by the NIH/National Center for Advancing Translational Science, the NIH/National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, and the NIH/National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
